We're glad to help with anything about buyme.gifts, on the website or in the iPhone app.

Contact us

Email support@buyme.gifts. To help us answer quickly, please include:

• the email address you use to sign in to buyme.gifts;
• whether you're using the website or the iPhone app, and which phone;
• what you were trying to do, and what happened instead (a screenshot helps).

Please don't send passwords or sign-in codes: we will never ask for them. We answer within a few business days.

Delete your account

• In the app: Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
• On the website: sign in, open Profile, then Account information, and choose Delete account at the bottom of the page.

If you own a group, transfer it to another member or delete it first. Your account is closed straight away, and you have 30 days to change your mind: sign in again within 30 days to recover it. After that, your account data is deleted or anonymized. If you can't sign in to delete your account, email us from the address on your account.

Report or block someone

If something on buyme.gifts is hurtful, unsafe or not right, report it. Look for the Report button on a person's profile, on a wishlist, on an item, on a group and on a photo. Reports go to our moderators, and the person you report isn't told who reported them.

To stop someone contacting you, tap Block on their profile. You won't see each other on buyme.gifts, and they can't find you or send you requests. They aren't told. You can see and undo blocks under Profile, Blocked people.

If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Children and families

• Children under 13 can't have their own account. A parent or guardian makes a managed profile for them and looks after their wishlists; the child doesn't sign in.
• Teens aged 13 to 17 can have their own account. Their friend requests and group joins wait for a parent or guardian to approve them, and they can't be found by name.
• Parents and guardians can write to support@buyme.gifts for help with a child's profile or data, including seeing, correcting or deleting it.
